A 165-hectare property located in a marked transition zone between the Mediterranean ecosystem of central Chile and the Chilean Valdivian temperate rainforest, an extensive and globally significant biodiversity hotspot classified as Critically Endangered. The area is distinguished by its high number of endemic plant genera and families, as well as several groups of vertebrates. It is also particularly remarkable for its exceptional levels of reptile and amphibian endemism.
