We celebrate the partnership between Viña Tarapacá and Tierra Austral

Two years of working with Viña Tarapacá: Thank you for staying by our side!

At Fundación Tierra Austral, our mission is to protect ecologically, scenically and culturally significant landscapes, and to promote the long-term conservation of these places. To accomplish this ambitious goal, a collective effort is required. Today we are celebrating the two-year anniversary of Tierra Austral’s important and successful partnership with Viña Tarapacá!

This alliance with Viña Tarapacá, through the 1% for the Planet platform, is an example of how companies can be agents of change by transforming their commitment into concrete actions. In this case, the support that Tierra Austral has received from Viña Tarapacá has enabled us to invest resources in the conservation of Mediterranean ecosystems in central Chile, the rarest, most threatened and least protected habitats in the country, and one of the rarest in the world. This collaboration demonstrates that when the business sector and civil society organizations work hand-in-hand, meaningful and highly beneficial conservation impacts can be achieved.
